<p>The present invention relates to a method for processing packet by using OpenFlow, an OpenFlow switch, and a computer-readable recording medium thereof. According to one aspect of the present invention, for a method for processing a packet by using an OpenFlow switch including a software-based first switch and a hardware-based second switch connected to the first switch, the method includes the steps of: (a) registering flow entry information provided from an OpenFlow controller with a first flow table included in the first switch and a second flow table included in the second switch; and (b) delivering the packet along a communications path defined by flow entry information registered with the second flow table when the packet is input to the second switch, and delivering the packet along a communications path defined by flow entry information registered with the first flow table when the flow entry information corresponding to the packet does not exist in the second flow table or when information for allowing the packet to be processed by the first switch is included in the flow entry information corresponding to the packet.</p> |
