<p>While air cooling is adequate for some applications of electric arc welding, water cooling of the current-carrying cables is required in other applications. The cabinet containing the welding equipment is fitted with a removable shelf on which the cooling equipment is located. Thus shelves with water cooling or air cooling equipment may be used interchangeably, and defective cooling equipment is easily replaced by a shelf of serviceable cooling equipment.</p> |
