The present invention provides a multimedia stream transmission method and a system based on terahertz wireless communication. A media providing device sends a multimedia stream through a terahertz wireless signal, and a media receiving device receives the multimedia stream in real time, so as to achieve the real-time broadcast and transmission of the multimedia stream. Through the transmission mode based on terahertz wireless communication, the present invention generally improves the transmission rate and quality of the multimedia stream, and enhances the quality of a picture displayed by the multimedia stream.
