<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide an apparatus and method for detecting a touch, which are capable of guaranteeing the linearity between a level shift value and touch capacitance and minimizing the influence of parasitic capacitance. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a touch detection apparatus includes: a plurality of sensor pads configured to form touch capacitance in relation to a touch input tool, and to output sensing signals according to a touch state; an operational amplifier having a first input terminal connected to an output terminal of at least one first sensor pad to detect a touch among the sensor pads, and a second input terminal that receives a reference voltage, and configured to output a different signal based on the sensing signals; a first switch configured to control electric potential of both ends of a driving capacitor connected between the first input terminal and an output terminal of the operational amplifier; a second switch turned on and off alternately with the first switch, and configured to switch a connection between the output terminal of the first sensor pad and the first input terminal; and a parasitic capacitance removal circuit configured to supply the same electric potential as the output terminal of the first sensor pad to a second pad adjacent to the first sensor pad.</p> |
