<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain restoration from an optical network unit (ONU), which is desired to be preferentially restored, even when an optical fiber trunk line abnormality or regional power interruption, etc. occurs in a state where the multiple ONUs perform communication with an optical line terminal (OLT) by using a multi-point control protocol (MPCP) concerning a communication apparatus using a passive optical network (PON) system. <P>SOLUTION: An authentication information database for respective ONUs, which is held by an OLT, includes even priority order information. In restoration after the disconnection of communication in a PON system, the OLT sequentially authenticates the ONUs in accordance with the priority order information stored in the authentication information database. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
