<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow structure plate in which thin sheet parts with an optional thickness can be formed at specified positions, and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: Cuts 7 are formed at the specified regions in the one where a pair of surface materials 5, 6 made of a thermoplastic resin are laminated on both sides of thermoplastic resin sheets 2, 3 in which hollow-shaped projecting parts 2a, 3a are formed into matrix shape, and further, when necessary, a face material(s) is pasted on one of or both of the surface materials 5, 6. Then, one region is pressed with the cuts 7 as boundaries to form thin sheet parts 10 so as to be a hollow structure plate including a thick plate part and the thin sheet parts 10 with the cuts 7 as boundaries.
