<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate valve capable of securing high sealing performance by preventing the rattling of a valve element while preventing the rotation of a stem, to prevent damage to a sealing surface between the valve element and a valve seat, and of maintaining sealing performance by providing a stem rotation preventive part in an easily outside maintainable manner for giving consistently stable operation to the stem. <P>SOLUTION: In the gate valve which is opened/closed with the valve element 3 seated on/off the valve seat 4 in a body 1 while being suspended down from the lower end of the stem 2 to be moved up and down in the body 1, the stem 2 is provided movable up and down with the rotating force of a driving mechanism 5 mounted on the upper part of the body 1, a rotation preventive pin 22 is provided in the radial direction of an extension part 17 extending the stem 2 from the upper side of the driving mechanism 5 for preventing the rotation, and a rotation preventive cover 32 having an oblong hole 33 is fixed to the upper part of the driving mechanism 5. The rotation preventive pin 22 is engageably guided by the oblong hole 33 for preventing the rotating force of the stem 2 to inhibit such a phenomenon that the valve element 3 slides on the valve seat 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
