The present invention relates to an apparatus for quantitatively detecting microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses and fungi. More specifically, the present invention relates to an apparatus for detecting microorganisms, which reduces noise of the apparatus for detecting microorganisms so as to be able to detect a small number of microorganisms, and enables detection of microorganisms even with a low concentration of antibodies and fluorescent dyes. The apparatus for detecting microorganisms of the present invention comprises a liquid crystal shutter for blocking the light emitted from microorganisms or fluorescent dyes; a shutter driver for driving the liquid crystal shutter; a light receiving diode for receiving the emitted light; a current-voltage converter for converting the current of the light receiving diode into a voltage; a multiplier for receiving the output of the current-voltage converter; a switch controller for applying a synchronized signal to the shutter driver and the multiplier; a low pass filter (LPF) for receiving the output of the multiplier; and an AD converter for receiving the output of the LPF, wherein the liquid crystal shutter and the multiplier are synchronized by the switch controller. |
