The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for hair treatment using a far-infrared ray heating element, which more specifically can improve hair damage prevention and treatment effects by heating hair using far-infrared rays, without heating the hair by heat. The apparatus for the hair treatment of the present invention comprises: an upper body (2) and a lower body (3) which are included along with a tong-shaped body (1) where each of one side is rotatably connected to each other; and a far-infrared ray heating element (110) emitting the far-infrared rays which is installed in at least one body of the upper body (2) or the lower body (3). In addition, the far-infrared ray heating element (110) as a plane heater is formed by containing carbon and at least one of ceramics (quartz porphyry), germanium, fertile soil, ocher, charcoal, algae coal, and tourmaline. |
