METHOD FOR MEASURING A TIME OF ARRIVAL

The present invention relates to a method for measuring arrival time of a reception signal, which is required for measuring a distance between two nodes. The method comprises the steps of: starting time counting in response to a signal transmission request; receiving a signal transmitted from a transmitter of the other side; detecting a preset upper limit amplitude level and a lower limit amplitude level with respect to a maximum amplitude of the reception signal of which the magnitude varies with time; and determining, as arrival time of the reception signal, the average of the times at which the upper limit amplitude level and the lower limit amplitude level are detected.
