PURPOSE: An auto work piece loading/unloading apparatus for a machine tool is provided to load and unload work pieces through simple operation by installing a pair of grip units on both ends of the gripper. CONSTITUTION: An auto work piece loading/unloading apparatus for a machine tool(M) comprises a gripper(100). The gripper comprises a gripper body(110), a spindle mounting unit(120), and a pair of work piece grip units(130). The spindle mounting unit mounts the gripper body on a spindle. A pair of work piece grip units are installed on both ends of the gripper body. A pair of work piece grip units grips or releases the work pieces(W1,W2). The gripper is transferred among the positions(P1,P2) of workpieces before and after machining a jig(F).
