<p>A high pressure riser assembly (200, 300) comprising a riser string (205, 305) extending upwards from the seabed towards a floating structure (201, 301). The floating structure has a heave compensating tensioning system (225, 325) which is connected to an upper portion of the riser string (205, 305) via a tension ring (223, 323). The high pressure riser assembly (200, 300) comprises a high pressure sleeve (203, 303), the lower end of which is adapted to be releasably connected to the upper end of the riser string (205, 305) by means of a latching arrangement (211, 311). The latching arrangement (211, 311) is arranged above water level (217, 317) and the latching arrangement (211, 311) is exposed.</p> |
