The present invention relates to a wireless communication terminal and a power supplying method thereof. The wireless communication terminal comprises: a main battery which is detachably coupled to the terminal to supply power to the terminal; an auxiliary battery which is embedded in the terminal; and a control unit which supplies the power to the terminal using the auxiliary battery if the main battery is separated from the terminal or discharged, wherein the main battery is a high-output and high-capacity battery, and the auxiliary battery is a low-output and low-capacity battery. According to the present invention, it is possible to perform a voice call seamlessly as long as possible even if the main battery of the terminal is discharged or separated from the terminal.
