The present invention is to provide a method of manufacturing a copper (Cu) alloy having high strength and electromagnetic wave shielding properties, which increases strength with low costs and an electromagnetic wave shielding effect by replacing a Cu tape or an iron tape used for conventional high intensity beryllium copper or the electromagnetic wave shielding. The method of manufacturing the (Cu) alloy having high strength and electromagnetic wave shielding properties comprises the steps of: forming the molten steel consisting of 5-9.9 wt% of Fe, 0.05-2 wt% of Co, 0.1-5 wt% of Ni, and the balance being Cu by smelting a Fe-Cu master alloy, a Co-Cu master alloy, and a Ni-Cu master alloy with Cu; coating a surface by putting 0.2-0.3 wt% of alumina powder in the molten steel; putting 0.01-0.5 wt% of boron (B) and zirconium (Zr) in the coated molten steel; and casting the molten steel with the Cu alloy of a billet or a slab. |
