The invention provides an excellent cystine-containing complex and a preparation method thereof, and the cystine-containing complex simultaneously has the effects of cystine and the effects of collagen peptide or keratin or amino acids as a functional material which can be added in foods or cosmetics. The invention further provides a drink food and the cosmetic containing the cystine-containing complex. The cystine-containing complex can be prepared through the following process steps: dissolving the cystine in alkaline solution with pH above 10; and mixing the obtained cystine solution with collagen peptide solution, solution of keratin hydrolysis products or the solution containing the amino acids dissolved in acidic solution, stirring, and forming the complex in the solution with the pH below 10. |
