PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device capable of suppressing increase of current consumption and detecting a state of a monitor object with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An ECU 1 as the electronic control device comprises: an MPU 3; and a power source IC 4 having a low accuracy power source 41 and a high accuracy power source 42. Reference voltage outputted from the power source IC 4 is supplied to a sensor 5 for detecting a brake pedal state, and then a signal of the sensor 5 is inputted to the MPU 3. When the ECU 1 is in a sleep state, a function part 34 of the MPU 3 uses the low accuracy power source 41 as a power source for supplying power to the sensor 5, and determines whether a signal value of the sensor 5 exceeds a threshold value or not. When exceeding the threshold value, the function part 34 transits a state to a pre-wake up state in which a CPU 31 is started up, and switches the power source for supplying power to the sensor 5 to the high accuracy power source 42, and then determines whether the signal value of the sensor 5 exceeds the threshold value. When exceeding the threshold value, the ECU 1 becomes a fully wake-up state, and when does not exceed the threshold value, the ECU 1 becomes the sleep state again. |
