An objective of the present invention is, when transmitting and receiving data among a plurality of devices, to control the correspondence between a transmission-side device and a receiving-side device with a high degree of freedom. A POS system comprises a second tablet terminal which receives data and a host device. The host device further comprises: a server interface for transmitting the data to the second tablet terminal; a storage unit which includes distribution buffers for storing the data and which stores buffer correspondence information which associates the distribution buffers with the second tablet terminal which is the transmission destination of the data; and a communication unit (2) which carries out control for acquiring the data and storing the same in the distribution buffers. When the communication unit has caused the distribution buffers to store the data, the stored data is transmitted to the second tablet terminal.
