PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed battery having a battery case of an optimum constitution capable of improving the safeness at a trouble of the battery.SOLUTION: Defining the plate thickness of a sealing part of a battery case as T1; and the plate thickness of a side wall as T2, in the battery case of the sealed battery, T2/T1>1 and 0.15 mm≤T1≤0.3 mm. With this constitution, the caulking strength of a sealing part is improved and prevents a sealing plate from protruding and prevents a side wall of the battery case from cracking; thus, a battery superior in the safeness is achieved. |
