Embodiments of the present invention provide a packet processing method, a device and a system. The method comprises: a switching device receiving a packet, wherein the switching device has a mapping relationship between a prefix entry and a general flow table entry established by using the prefix entry as an index, and a match field of the general flow table entry corresponding to the prefix entry comprises the prefix entry; the switching device obtaining a bit field used for matching in the packet based on the prefix entry; the switching device matching a value of the bit field with a data parameter of the match field of the general flow table entry corresponding to the prefix entry. The embodiments of the present invention can reduce a number of times that the packet extracts a general field, and improve a processing efficiency.
