The invention relates to a method (200) for validating a paperless ticket, in particular a travel ticket, with a mobile terminal (102), said method comprising the following steps: - loading (108-110) at least one paperless ticket from a memory area (404), called container, in which at least one paperless ticket is stored and located in: said mobile terminal (102); or a remote server (104) in communication with the mobile terminal (102) through a communication network (402); or a device (702), called ticketing medium, borne by a user of said mobile terminal; - selecting (114), on said mobile terminal (102) or in said remote server (104), at least one paperless ticket to be validated from among said at least one loaded paperless ticket; and - validating (116-118), in said mobile terminal (102) or in said remote server (104), said selected paperless ticket by recording at least one datum, called validation datum.
