The present invention relates to an air conditioner for a vehicle and, more specifically, relates to an air conditioner for a vehicle to prevent jamming of a mode door during operation, and to smoothly operate by preventing the generation of burrs on the outer circumference of a side shaft part joined to a fixated bracket during injection molding as a gear shaft and a sliding member are fixated by the fixated bracket; and the gear shaft is separated into a center shaft part engaged with the sliding member by gears and the side shaft part joined to the fixated bracket. In addition to this, the air conditioner for a vehicle has improved assemblability when assembled to an air conditioning case as the gear shaft and the sliding member are fixated by the fixated bracket after they are assembled to a home position.
