The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device and a method for manufacturing the same. The present invention includes a liquid crystal vertical orientation agent to increase the performance and reliability of the liquid crystal display device by inducing the vertical orientation of the stable liquid crystal in a simple process without pre-orientation processes. The present invention improves stability for the temperature and light of liquid crystal orientation and increases the performance and reliability of the liquid crystal display device.
