METHOD FOR AUTHENTICATING PAYMENT OCCURRED ABROAD AND SYSTEMS THEREOF

A method and a system for authenticating international payment are disclosed. The method for authenticating international payment comprises the steps of: determining whether an international payment authentication system is operated with a mobile terminal of a user and a credit card, which international payment is set not to be accepted in principle by a credit card company system, through short-range wireless communication; and transmitting a request signal to the credit card company system corresponding to the credit card by the international payment authentication system when the short-range wireless communication is determined to be carried out. By the credit card system in response to the transmitted request signal, only a request for international payment with the credit card which is received within a certain time before or after the time when the short-range wireless communication is carried out or the request signal is transmitted is exceptionally approved.
