<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a performance effect by changeover of a performance operation. <P>SOLUTION: In a variation pattern PT1-1, after an entire symbol variation is started, a left symbol is decelerated and stopped. Then, at timing at which 4,000 milliseconds elapse from the time of starting the entire symbol variation, the performance operation is switched to a sudden performance. Then, when the sudden performance is to end, established decorative symbols to be a jackpot combination are derived and displayed. In a variation pattern PT2-2, after the entire symbol variation is started, deceleration and stoppage of the left symbol and deceleration and stoppage of a right symbol are successively performed, and then a variable display state of decorative symbols is turned to a ready-to-win display state. Then, after deceleration and variation of a middle symbol are started, the performance operation is switched to the sudden performance.
