<p>The present invention relates to ODD and a driving method thereof capable of offering a file system and device information approved by a host to the host which does not have compatibility with the ODD and securing the connection or the compatibility with the host. The host comprises the compatibility with a specific external medium within a limited range and a specific command group for exchanging specific type file data. The ODD and the driving method are provided to transmit the information compatible with the host and select the specific command group approved by the host, thereby having the compatibility for the host.</p> |
