FACIAL COMPONENTS DETECTION SYSTEM USING HAAR-LIKE FEATURE AND BEZIER CURVE

The present invention relates to a system for detecting facial components using Haar-like features and Bezier curves and, more specifically, to a system for detection facial components using Haar-like features and Bezier curves which detects a particular area of a face area in a selected image using a Haar-like feature technique, detects a facial component area by binarizing the detected particular area, and detecting facial components from the detected facial component area by applying a Bezier curve. The system comprises: a particular area extraction module for extracting a particular area in a face area from a selected image using a Haar-like technique; a binarization module for generating a facial component area by binarizing the colors of the extracted particular area; a noise removal filtering module for removing noise in the generated facial component area; a facial component detection module for detecting facial components by applying a Bezier curve to the generated face component area; and a facial component display module for displaying facial components detected by the facial component detection module.
