<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: when the same exposure condition is applied to an electrostatic latent image scale formation area and an image formation area, without regard to individual optimal exposure light quantities, the quality of the electrostatic latent image scale is degraded to hinder accurate measurement.SOLUTION: Exposure light quantity for forming a latent image scale is gradually changed during a period other than image formation. An optimal amplitude and Duty of a measurement waveform, which are characteristics of a latent image scale sensor output value, are selected, and decided as a light quantity to be set.</p> |
