<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to detect reduction in cooling performance of a cooling apparatus when used in an environment where blast resistance of a cooling fan is increased or a temperature of the outside air to be sucked through an intake port exceeds a predetermined upper limit temperature, unlike in a predetermined environment.SOLUTION: A printer 100 includes: operation detection means 61 for detecting operation state of a liquid supply pump 51 or a cooling fan 53; and cooling effect detection means 62 for detecting cooling effect of the cooling apparatus 50. The operation state of the liquid supply pump 51 or the cooling fan 53 is detected by detecting rotation speed thereof. The cooling effect of the cooling apparatus 50 is detected by a developer temperature sensor 63 sensing a temperature of toner stored in a toner storage unit of each of developing apparatuses 3. Abnormal operation detection means 65 functions also as use-environment detection means which detects reduction in cooling effect, which is caused when the printer 100 is used in an environment other than a predetermined environment, on the basis of results detected by the operation detection means 61 and the cooling effect detection means 62.</p> |
