<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC generator for a vehicle, which can improve cooling efficiency of a radiator plate of a rectifier. <P>SOLUTION: The AC generator for a vehicle comprises: a stator 5 having a stator winding; a rotator 4 which is rotatably supported at an inner peripheral side of the stator through a gap; a front frame 16 and a rear frame 17 which rotatably support a rotary shaft of the rotator and also support the stator; a rectifier 18 which has an electrically connected rectifying element for rectifying the AC power output from the stator winding, constitutes a rectifying circuit, and is fixed to an outer end part of the rear frame; and a cooling fan 15 which sucks a cooling air from a protection cover 25 covering the rectifier through the rectifier. The rectifier 18 has a radiator plate 20 having a plurality of circular press-fitting holes 201 in which a rectifying element 22 is press-fitted provided therein, and through holes 202 through which the cooling air passes provided therein so as to be adjacent to the press-fitting holes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
