<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OPGW preventing the intrusion of rain water into the circumference of an optical fiber.SOLUTION: An OPGW 10 is composed of: an aluminum tube 1a storing a plurality of optical cables 1c in the inside thereof; and a plurality of aluminum-covered steel wires 1b twisted at the outer circumference of the aluminum tube 1a. The OPGW 10 comprises: a plurality of optical cables 1c having one or more optical fibers 1f; a grooved aluminum wire 1s sagging downwards toward the center in a U shape and having a spiral groove 1d with a slow gradient in which the optical cables 1c is buried formed at the outer circumference; and an aluminum tube 1a covering the outer circumference of the grooved aluminum wire 1s in an almost adhesive state. In the OPGW 10, a solidified foam synthetic resin 1e seals the optical cables 1c in the inside of the spiral groove 1d.</p> |
