PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of realizing a thinner display device with a narrower frame while ensuring the strength of a display panel, and a support structure for a display device optical member.SOLUTION: A display device includes: a liquid crystal cell 20 displaying an image on a front screen; a backlight unit 40 arranged to cover a rear surface of the liquid crystal cell 20, and radiating light toward the rear surface of the liquid crystal cell 20; a rear frame 50 arranged on the rear surface of the liquid crystal cell 20; a front cabinet 10 fixed to the rear frame 50 while pressing a peripheral edge of the liquid crystal cell 20 from a front surface; and a cell guide 30 provided between the liquid crystal cell 20 and the backlight unit 40, pressing at least a part of a peripheral edge of the backlight unit 40 from the front surface, and formed out of a metal material. The cell guide 30 includes: a cushion member 72 arranged at a position in contact with the liquid crystal cell 20; and a cushion member 73 arranged at a position in contact with the backlight unit 40. |
