PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically decide how to divide data so as to reduce the time required for transaction processing.SOLUTION: A data division control apparatus 1 includes: a processing time measuring unit 112 which measures and obtains the time (lock time) required for distributed lock processing and the time (data processing time) required for data processing when the data processing is executed; and a division/integration processing unit 113 which determines to divide or integrate the data to be subjected to the data processing, on the basis of the obtained lock time and data processing time. Specifically, the division/integration processing unit 113 determines to divide the data when the total value of the lock time and data processing time obtained within a current predetermined period is smaller than a total value obtained within a previous predetermined period, and when a ratio obtained by dividing the obtained lock time by the total value obtained within the current predetermined period is smaller than a predetermined threshold. |
