PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a neutralizing apparatus capable of easily controlling the neutralization of a drain by preventing the alkalinization of the drain and a latent heat recovery-style heat source machine including the same.SOLUTION: The provided neutralizing apparatus 1 includes a support unit 16, a neutralizer 15, and a drain stagnation blockage unit 17. The support unit 16 possesses a through-hole 16a. The neutralizer 15 is positioned atop the support unit 16 and bears an alkaline pH. The drain stagnation blockage unit 17 is arranged between the support unit 16 and neutralizer 15 and bears a pH value lesser than that of the neutralizer 15. The neutralizing apparatus 1 prompts a drain D having been discharged from above the neutralizer 15 and then streamed downward along the surface of the neutralizer 15 to pass through the drain stagnation blockage unit 17 and stream downward through the through-hole 16a. |
