<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device which effectively cools a battery when a temperature of outer air is high as in summer.SOLUTION: A battery cooling device of an electric vehicle includes: a battery 24 which supplies electric power to a motor that drives the vehicle; an outer air introduction mechanism 14 which introduces outer air at the exterior of a vehicle cabin to a surrounding area of the battery 24; a water storage tank 20 which stores water; temperature detection means for detecting a temperature of the outer air; and a vaporizer 22 which is provided in the middle of the outer air introduction mechanism so as to communicate with the water storage tank and atomizes the water flowing thereinto from the water storage tank to mix the atomized water into the outer air when the temperature detection means detects that the temperature of the outer air exceeds a predetermined temperature range.</p> |
