<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder and an image recording method, which can input in point/out point information with good operability.SOLUTION: An image recorder includes: a photographing section for photographing a moving image; a control section which can operate the image recorder in an operation mode selected from a plurality of operation modes; and an operation section for instructing start and stop of recording of the moving image. The plurality of operation modes include: a first recording mode (normal recording mode) for performing real recording to record the moving image photographed by the photographing section in a recording medium in accordance with user operation; and a second recording mode (regular recording mode) for performing virtual recording to record start and end of a scene in accordance with user operation while the real recording is continued. The control section controls the start and stop of real recording in accordance with operation to the operation section in the first recording mode and controls the start and stop of virtual recording in accordance with the operation to the operation section in the second recording mode.</p> |
