<p>The invention relates to methods for measuring the size of distant objects by optical methods.The method for remote measurement of the size of petroleum product spots on water surface consists in that the spot is illuminated with an interference raster in the form of a plane-parallel beam with a constant period of the raster at a distance less than the coherence length of the laser radiation, wherein the interference raster is formed by the interference of two plane-parallel laser beams reflected from the faces of the wedge-shaped plate with semitransparent rear surface. Spot sizes are determined proceeding from the known period of the interference raster.</p> |
