Compositions comprising an aryl pyrazole and/or a formamidine, methods and uses thereof

Disclosed is a method for the treatment or prevention of a parasitic infestation in a non-human animal such as cats, dogs and cattle, comprising administering an effective amount of (i) at least one 1-arylpyrazole compound such as fipronil in a first veterinarily acceptable carrier; and (ii) at least one formamidine compound such as amitraz in a second veterinarily acceptable carrier: to the animal. Reference has been directed, in pursuance of Section 16 of the Patents Act, 1953, to New Zealand Patent Number NZ 592865.
