<p>Provided is a cosmetic method of using 2,3-dihydroxypropyl dodecanoate for treating seborrhoea. In particular seborrhoea of sclap may be treated as a means of preventing hair loss. Also provided is the preparation of anti-seborrhoea compositions comprising 2,3-dihydroxypropyl dodecanoate, as the sole anti-seborrheic active substance from 0.01% to 20% in weight with respect to the total weight of the composition. The composition may be a shampoo, setting lotion, styling lotion, cream or gel, dye composition and anti-hair loss gel.</p> |
