One of the purposes of the present invention is to provide a process for producing a container with a handle, said process being capable of integrating a polyethylene terephthalate resin made container body with a handle while enhancing the heat resistance of the container body. This process includes: a primary blow molding step for subjecting a preform made of a polyethylene terephthalate resin to blow molding to form an intermediate molded product (62); and a secondary blow molding step for disposing the intermediate molded product (62) in a blow mold (71) which holds a handle (13) on the inner surface, blow-molding the intermediate molded product (62) in such a state that the handle (13) is close to the intermediate molded product (62), and thus integrating a container body, which is the intermediate molded product (62) expanded in the blow mold (71), with the handle (13).
