<p>The present invention relates to a system and a method for assisting the steering of a vehicle during the parking of the vehicle, wherein the system comprises: a vehicle speed senor sensing the driving speed of the vehicle; an angular speed sensor sensing the angular speed of a steering wheel; a torque sensor sensing torque applied to the steering wheel; and a steering control part controlling the steering system and the steering wheel of the vehicle. According to the present invention, when a driver manipulates the steering wheel suddenly, the system and the method are capable of controlling the vehicle to be controlled to automatically maximize the steering angle of the vehicle in the rotational direction of the steering wheel by sensing the angular speed and the torque of the steering wheel during the parking of the vehicle, thereby improving user convenience.</p> |
