<p>The present invention relates to a new print-on-demand publishing system and a print-on-demand publishing method, wherein the print-on-demand publishing system enables a print-on-demand publisher, a template developer, and a user to participate in print-on-demand publishing through a web server. The print-on-demand publishing system comprises: at least one publisher terminal (10), at least one developer terminal (20), at least one user terminal (30) and a web server (40). The publisher terminal (10) registers the information about a publishable book, a selling price, and a performance ratio in the web server (40). The developer terminal (20) checks the information transmitted by the publisher terminal (10) through the web server (40), and registers a template having components of individual functions in the web server (40). The user terminal (30) inputs pictures or text for the contents of a print-on-demand book. The web server (40) comprises: a product storage part (41) to store the information received from the publisher terminal (10); a template storage part (42) to store the template registered through the developer terminal (20); a template analysis part (43) to extract the function information and position information of each component from the template stored in the template storage part (42) and to store the extracted information; a template conversion part (44) to convert the template into a hypertext document in order to display the components of the template selected by the user terminal (30) on the user terminal (30); and a template synthesis part (45) to reconfigure the template by inputting the pictures and text inputted from the user terminal (30) to the components of individual functions in the template.</p> |
