COIL COMPONENT AND BOARD FOR MOUNTING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component in which a magnetic flux is canceled and the same coupling coefficient can be implemented, and a board for mounting the same.SOLUTION: The coil component comprises a ceramic body 10, and first to eighth external electrodes 31 to 38 formed on two faces neighboring to one face of the ceramic body and another face opposing the one face. The ceramic body includes first to fourth coil parts 21 to 24 which are disposed between upper and lower boards and covered by an insulation film. The first to fourth coil parts include coupling coils which are wound side by side on the same plane so as to form magnetic fluxes in opposite directions. The coupling coil is formed from first to eighth coils 21a to 24b and the first to eighth coils are connected with first to eighth external electrodes, respectively.
