PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segment coil which can be assembled with a slot part of an integrated core in which slot paper is mounted, and is capable of effectively preventing partial discharge between the segment coil and a neighboring coil or the like and improving a space factor of a stator even in the configuration where an additional insulation layer is provided in a coil end part including a connection part, and a stator with the segment coil.SOLUTION: The segment coil comprises a straight part accommodated in a slot part of an integrated core in which slot paper is mounted; and a pair of coil end parts extending from the slot part. An additional insulation layer is provided in a predetermined area of one coil end part that includes a connection part for connecting with the other segment coil between the pair of coil end parts, and the additional insulation layer is formed on at least one of an inner face and an outer face of the integrated core in a radial direction. |
