摘要 <p>According to embodiments of the present invention, a spectroscopic device for surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) is provided. The spectroscopic device includes a detection chamber including a window, and a SERS-active substrate arranged in the detection chamber, wherein the window is adapted to pass an excitation signal to illuminate the SERS-active substrate and further adapted to pass a SERS signal generated from the SERS-active substrate, and wherein the SERS-active substrate is arranged spaced apart from an inner surface of the window facing the SERS-active substrate by a spacing of about 0.4 mm or less. Further, a method of detecting surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) signal associated with one or more volatile organic compounds and a method for multiplex detection of a plurality of volatile organic compounds using surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) are also provided. Various embodiments may enable multiplex VOCs detection with SERS due to the multiplex detection feature of SERS.</p>
