Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for estimating channel information, which can reduce the complexity of estimation while maintaining decoding performance. The method for estimating channel information is performed by a terminal and comprises: a step of estimating channel coefficients corresponding to individual subcarriers forming each symbol of a received signal; a step of calculating received signal power corresponding to each subcarrier; a step of calculating interference estimation parameters for individual subcarriers based on the received signal power and the magnitude of a channel coefficient corresponding to a subcarrier having maximum received signal power among the subcarriers; and a step of calculating a non-Gaussian characteristic parameter of an interference signal with respect to the received signal based on the interference estimation parameters calculated for the subcarriers of all the symbols in the received signal. |
