A mobile communication method comprises the steps of (A) notifying, by a wireless terminal, a wireless base station of a category class indicating a category of the wireless terminal, (B) notifying, by the wireless base station, the wireless terminal of DRX identification information that identifies a DRX cycle determined according to the category class of the wireless terminal, and (C) monitoring, at the wireless terminal, a downlink signal during the on-period in accordance with the DRX cycle identified by the DRX identification information. |
