PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occurrence of a rolling trouble of a metallic strip by stably controlling meandering of the continuously rolled metallic strip.SOLUTION: A meandering control device includes: tension measurement means for measuring each tension at one end and the other end of a width direction of a metallic strip on each rolling machine outlet side of a tandem rolling machine; arithmetic processing means for performing arithmetic processing of tension; and control means of reduction leveling amount. The arithmetic processing means calculates differential tension of each tension at the one end and the other end and total tension and calculates a tension rate of the differential tension to the total tension. The control means corrects a target range of the tension ratio of the metallic strip in the rolling machine to be a control object according to reduction leveling amount of the next rolling machine arranged side by side with a rear stage of the rolling machine to be the control object, and controls the reduction leveling amount of the rolling machine to be the control object so that the tension ratio of the metallic strip on the rolling machine outlet side to be the control object may be in the target range after the correction. |
