Producing readily soluble and dispersible granulates In the process, fine, powdered material is run through a sieve, of a granulation column, as independent groups after being wetted at a temperature below 100 degrees C. The groups of materials are brought into contact with a slow stream of heated air having a temperature lying below 100 degrees C. The air stream contains steam and the groups do not mix, producing the desired porous granulates by direct combination of the fine powdered materials e.g. foodstuffs or medicaments.
|
