A high-output oxy-acetylene blowpipe gives output rates =20m3/h at a pressure =0.6 bars. Two concentric gas feed pipes are separately mounted on a common support and debouch via n injector into a mixing chamber connected to the cutting nozzle. A cooling chamber fed with cooling fluid is situated between the mixing chamber and the multi-outlet nozzle. the injector comprises a Venturi and a spray jet which is in the form of a truncated hollow pot closed at its small base and disposed coaxially in the Venturi. |
