The present invention provides a graphics processing unit, an operation method thereof, and devices including the same. The operation method of the graphics processing unit includes: determining whether to perform a tiling operation before a tessellation operation based on input data or after tessellation operation; and performing the tiling operation according to the determination result. The determination step determines the whether to perform the tiling operation after the tessellation operation when the input data is not a patch, the geometry of the patch is located outside of a convex hull defined by the control points of the patch, or the geometry of tessellated primitive corresponding to the patch changes according to a shading operation. |
